As Covid is unfolding and the long-term effects are becoming more pronounced, the events industry has been hugely disrupted and is having to adapt quickly and make fast decisions. As a result of this speed of change, EI and Bottomline launched aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
a series of roundtable discussions to support marketers with events as a large part of their remit to navigate the changing nature of the events landscape.
Julia Dunne, Global Head of Events at Bottomline Technologies and Victoria Pawsey from EI held the third in the Summer Series Roundtables. Hosted in late July, the third and final meeting of the Event Marketers Network as part of the Summer Series Roundtables as attendees reflected on the new world of virtual events that are our new world at least in a virtual or hybrid capacity.
